McNeil (J&J) took top honours with the green mucus creature for Benylin / Cetussin. McNeil also grabbed second place with a previously-seen role-reversal hippo chasing cheetah film for Reactine, re-edited to give added credibility to the relaunched Levoreact product in Italy.

Nycomed was back on the podium to pick up third prize for the clever campaign for its Nycoplus SmartKidz supplement.

The conference also saw one extra Award this year. Nicholas Hall presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to respected industry veteran Stanley Barshay of Schering- Plough; Stan wasn’t able to attend, but accepted the award via a video message to the conference.
